Shiatsu is a style of Japanese massage that combines Oriental techniques with elements of anatomy and physiology from modern medicine. It can be called 'acupuncture without needles'. Shiatsu' is a Japanese word meaning 'finger pressure', pressure applied to the body's energy lines (meridians) to stimulate the natural energy flow 'chi'. The method also helps heal certain diseases.
